Use case

Multi-country PEPFAR/MoH Data Alignment Activity

The multi-country PEPFAR/MoH Data Alignment Activity (DAA) aims to provide a comprehensive and unambiguous view of national programs to understand the full HIV landscape down to the facility level, helping to define targeted interventions.

This requires strict alignment of facility lists and key indicators across systems and building out data submission tools and processes. The DAA is the first step in reducing duplicative data entry and parallel reporting structures, and is working to strengthen MoHs’ systems to effectively monitor and maintain epidemic control.

This activity is improving data quality and enhancing system interoperability and organizational collaboration to realize the “collect once, use multiple times” paradigm, and it has led to at least one public good ─ the GOFR tool, used for facility reconciliation.
