Since 2015, BAO Systems has served as a trusted partner supporting PEPFAR’S mission across 60 countries, providing leadership across the software development lifecycle. BAO Systems hosts hundreds of instances for the Department of State in the AWS Cloud, including all system administration to comply with FISMA Moderate regulations. Our system administrators support and manage cloud-based platform as a service, role based access controls, single sign-on & identity management, automated testing & deployment, and user support & communications. BAO Systems serves as the product lead for DATIM, directly overseeing enterprise architecture, development, data collection, data analysis, testing, hosting, system integration, and user support. Currently we support over 1,800 implementing partners and nearly 24,000 users to collect PEPFAR indicators in the DATIM system. We oversee the development and continual updating of the current 8,033 clinical and public health data elements collected, an effort requiring intensive testing across DATIM workstreams and stakeholders to be able to maintain stability and continuity.
